Founded in July, 2011, Specter published poetry, fiction, and narrative nonfiction of all forms, styles, and genres, written by creatives regardless of race, gender, and sexual identity. In its final iteration, Specter was curated by Mensah Demary, an editor with Catapult, an independent press based in New York.
